#3Jigoku-Dani Extreme Salt Ramen

April 4.2016 BY Japanese instant ramen shop owner,Sakura.

Let me introduce
"Hokkaido Noboribetsu Shio ramen" today.

This is Shio ramen from Noboribetsu, Hokkaido.
Japanese Name:Jigoku-Dani no Gekiuma Shio Ramen
English Name: Jigoku-Dani Extreme Salt Ramen
Product Page:

This is the one with packaging that my friend in France likes.
It doesn't look like ramen noodles, but it's ramen!

Noboribetsu is the site of a hot spring in Hokkaido
which is famous for an explosion of the Mt Kuttara crater.
Legend has it that the Great King Yama, Emma, came to Noboribetsu with ogres.
Because of this, there are many products with ogre motifs. This is one of them.
"I went to Noboribetsu" is written on the ramen package.
Japanese know that Noboribetsu is in Hokkaido.
People know that ramen in Hokkaido is delicious.
This is a big deciding factor when people choose one instant ramen from many other ramens.
Of course, the ogre face is a big point as well.

It includes two types of soup (liquid and salt) and fried noodles.
It's on the tray to protect the ramen noodles.

Cooking instructions for this instant ramen are on the back of the package.
Boil the noodles for 3 minutes in 600cc of boiling water.

I put ramen noodle into a very hot stone bowl to mix with Noboribetsu jigokudani.
This ramen is a well-balanced taste that spreads in the mouth.
If you like Pho, which are Vietnamese noodles, I would recommend this!
